The Department of Technology of Furniture & Wooden Products, which is part of the Institute of Woodworking Technology and Design, is based in LvivUkraine.

The educational and scientific activity of the department began in 1946.

The areas of training and research cover the technology of furniture and wooden products, and contribute to the training of highly skilled woodworking professionals who are environmentally friendly and able to provide harmonious interaction with the natural environment in professional and social activities.

The Department promotes the dissemination and growth of knowledge in the field of woodworking technologiesdesign and production of furniture and other wood products through intensive training and applied research, as well as to provide students with a high level of technological training and knowledge for possible occupation of private entrepreneurship and potential future employment.

Special Week

This is a form of training spread in Switzerland (in particular at the University of Applied Sciences in Bern, where specialists in related fields are trained: such as Woodworking Technology and Civil Engineering).
