Specialty 187 “Woodworking and furniture technologies” for OPP “Woodworking Technologies” and “Technology of wood products”.
Educational and professional program “Technology of wood products”

The training program provides:

  • acquaintance with world tendencies of development of woodworking production;
  • acquisition of practical skills in the development and improvement of resource-saving manufacturing processes, justification of design solutions in the design of furniture (or other wood products);
  • technologies and methods of quality research in the manufacture of wood products.

Graduates have modern knowledge:

  • techniques and technologies for creating environmentally friendly protective and decorative coatings on wood products;
  • theory and practice of creating recipes for safe finishing LFM and modern technologies for finishing wood products;
  • research and implementation of modern adhesives and bonding technologies in the production of furniture.

The program prepares applicants for higher education in the field of forestry:

  • solving problems related to analysis, synthesis, development and the ability to implement in production scientifically sound technological solutions and ideas in the paradigm of sustainable development.
