The discipline “Production of consumer goods” is read for students in the field of  specialty 05180102 “Technology of wood products”.

  • The purpose is to provide professional training of specialists, consolidation of theoretical knowledge in general engineering and specialty subjects of the curriculum and mastering the skills of independent practical activity for creative solution of production problems using the advanced world achievements of science and technology at the level of requirements determined by the qualification characteristic of the specialist.The essence of the discipline is to give knowledge about the basic principles of classification and rules of design of consumer goods from wood, materials, methods of calculation of materials, structure of technological processes, loading of equipment and quality of production, organization of current production, typical and progressive technological processes, automation of systems of design and production management. .The task of the discipline – formation of students ability to set and solve problems of engineering and scientific direction, to develop logical thinking and skills of designing sports equipment, musical instruments, barrel containers, baguettes, pencils and matches, designing technological processes for their production, preparation for production and technical, preparation for production and technical management, design and research activities in the field of creation and implementation of new technologies.

    As a result of studying the discipline the student should:
